You might want to consult your pup's vet. I had a similar issue, so I called my baby's vet. She pulled out his chart, gave me a dosage (just to give him immediate relief) and scheduled a vet visit. Turns out his itching was not allergies. The dosage she gave me did not hurt him but it turned out to not be the best thing for him.
