My pups also have a habit of taking one piece of kibble & running away with it under the dining room table or something. I don't know why they do it
Maybe you can try giving her a canned puppy food? She might like that better & it might be easier for her to eat. You can also soak the kibble in the fridge overnight. It softens it right up. Congrats on your new baby!
