I was contacted by two friends this way. My high school class has a website that's free, and if you are a member of the class, you can email another. One is a guy I hung out with so so much in school. We've stayed in touch since.
The other was literally my first boyfriend, and woo-wee the memory was better than the reality. He is whacked, not psychotic crazy, just goofy whacked more than I remembered. Emails with details I didn't EVEN remember. I generally got the impression this guy had no life after us, I guess. I don't that I'm that inforgettable, or his one great love. I'd read those suckers and think...."gee, bud, did you NOT date ANYONE in the last 25+ years. I just so wanted to smack him. Got so I'd read them, but not reply....then I'd get emails whining about me NOT writing back....now if I get one...I hit delete. I'm hoping he's moved backwards to the little girl in his second grade class that he's still thinking about.
