Unhappy Worried sick! Dental cleaning in the morning!

My little one has to have her teeth cleaned in the morning. Needless to say (as most everyone always says when anesthesia is involved) I am worried sick!

We had her extensive blood panel, EKG and regular check-up two weeks ago when we made the appointment - her heart, organs, and everything on her blood work looked great.

She is five years old (she is a rescue) and we've only had her about three weeks. But her poor little mouth is in terrible shape. Her little teeth look terrible and I know she needs this procedure done.

I am just scared to death. I recently lost my precious Yorkie, October, in an accident in April - something I never thought I'd have to face so unexpectedly and so suddenly - so that has made my nerves about our other Yorkie even worse.

I know so many of you have been in my position with dental cleanings, spays and neuters, amongst other surgeries...so any suggestions on how to easy my anxiety (or what helped with your worry) is more than appreciated. Of course we pray for her daily, that God look after her and we know that He will -- but I am still just so nervous.

Thank you all so much!
