If that poor baby does not make it, you be sure and INSIST on an autopsy, and you want a copy of the autopsy. I would make it very clear to this breeder that the vet has indicated the hypoglycemia is secondary to the possibility of a liver shunt, and if the puppy dies, you need an autopsy to indicate what caused the death, especially if hypoglycemia is a symptom of the actual cause of death. THAT would be covered on a health certificate.
