That ER vet just doesn't sound right and I wouldn't be trusting them.

It sounds like liver shunt to me. It sends them into hypoglycemia but no matter how level your blood glucose levels are they will continue to have problems until the shunt is taken care of. I hope the breeder gets him in to a vet right away and not just try to treat him as though he is only hypoglycemic.

That's what I was thinking too. I highly doubt that the breeder will do anything about it, unfortunately...About the tapeworm thing, the mom must be infested w/fleas & the baby ate an infected flea while nursing or something...a breeder to have such unhealthy conditions will not likely do any testing on her breeding stock & highly doubt there's any valid 'health guarantee'. She'll probably offer another puppy, but do heartbroken people get another puppy from the same breeder that they got their sick pup from?
