For what it is worth, the MARS DNA test will not stand up in court as it is not a scientifically proven as in published in scientific genetic journals as acceptable data and research. This is per a conversation I have had with my very knowledgable Vet.
A DNA test can be done to prove your puppy is from the sire and dam as recorded on the certificate which it very well could be from that sire and dam but it will not prove if it and the parents are indeed purebreds especially if the registry is not a bona fide registry.
Even then, even it AKC, to avoid problems or doubts, research BEFORE you fork over your cash. Yes reputable breeders you can rely on are out there. They may not have anything available right when you want it. You will have to answer a lot of questions. You may even be turned down for some reason usually a very valid one which I do as for some, a Yorkie in particular and maybe a dog is not the right time or situation right now. I have been yelled at I have been thanked. Doesn't matter to me which it is I prefer the best interest of my dog, puppy, even someone else's if they are just selling without thought or care.
My two cents worth anyway. |
