I choose it because in summer I would shower him very often like every five day, especially july and august, in Italy it's very hot and can reach 40 celcius (I don't know in farenheit). So, if I use liquid drop, I'm worried it might go away soon after I shower him too often. With collar, I hv the freedom to take it off anytime I shower him.
And I honestly use also the bayer anti flea shower foam from Mid april to mid oct, just for additional strategy. Then I will use normal shampoo from oct-april. I think it works in my case, depends on the effectiveness of the collar type I suppose | We have had posts of dogs very very sick from flea collars so I really would toss it. The liquid drops go into the blood stream absorbed through the skin so as long as its dry before you bathe them it won't to away.
