I'm praying with you. Perthes is pretty easy to "see", in my case anyway...I came home to the ex and his buddy playing with Mini in the kitchen and they were laughing cuz she was hopping like a rabbit...I immediately took her to the vet..scared the heck out of me to see such a drastic change within hours....Let me just say, it never occurred to either of them that something was wrong because Mini didn't "complain"...but boy did they feel guilty afterward and she got many treats.
