we took Elliott back to vet...x-ray of neck showed a spot of concern...can't tell until MRI which is Tuesday..we only have one specialist in Omaha and they are the only ones with the machine so we have to keep him comfortable until then. Rest assured all that I am doing everything I possibly can for him, if I could get him in any sooner I would, I just have to deal what I have available to me and keep him safe until then. He was fitted with a cervical collar and this morning when he woke up no strange behavior, no pacing, crying nothing a little pain wimper so we gave him some pain meds and he is resting. The vet is thinking these morning episodes are being brought on by pain due to laying still in the same position all night..so the collar will help stabilize until we can get him in to have MRI done. On the other side he tested very likely with his Protein C levels to have Microvascular Dysplasia we are also having a biopsy done on Tuesday. Your continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
