My bf is a huge Howard Stern fan, and I got him the service and player for his birthday in 2004. (He was ready for HS's move a little early!) He was always on the road so he didn't have to worry about channel surfing to find music when he went out of the area. I got him one of the first models they had out (pretty limited compared to what they have now!) That was stollen when someone stole his truck a few months ago, and I felt so bad for him that I bought him a new receiver. I got him the one that you can pause the music (although I didn't realize it at the time!) He just hooked it up in his truck this past week and is pretty impressed with it. I really like the service because you don't have to listen to the commercials and there are so many options- seriously something for everyone! I used to detest Howard Stern, but I've grown more tolerant of him in the past year or so. I'm curious to hear what one of his shows sounds like on satelite. I heard something about them wanting to sensor him a little bit on satelite. Did anyone else hear this? I CAN NOT believe the amount of money he is making, though. It's something like $300,000 a day!
