We opted not to do Lepto vaccines. Many articles I read said that the vaccine covers only 4 strains, and there are many more out there. Some sources say that the vaccine has to be given every 6 months to be truly effective even against that small number of strains. Ty..she's playing right now for a few minutes before she's ready for bed. I just read a little about Lepto. I still need to read more but right now I don't think I'd choose to have the vaccine either. My vet hasn't mentioned it but I'll be sure to discuss it w/them. Unless its a complete necessity I prolly would not, I just read how some pups but not all have strong reactions to the vaccine and its the vaccine that has the most side affects out of all of them.
