Welcome! You have def come to the right place for advice on yorkies!!! I would agree that about once an hour is good for stopping. However, if your new puppy is not fully vaccinated, I would be cautious about where to take her to potty. This is just my opinion and I sure there are others with much more experience than me in this matter. I would not feed her during this trip, although be sure to have some nutrical with you! That is a long ride for a little furbaby, but you do not want her to have food in her tummy in case she gets car sick! Someone suggested this to me, and it worked amazingly well, but if you buy a water bottle that is designed for a hampster or other small rodent, you can hold it for your baby and they can get a little bit of water while in the car but not too much at once and it wont spill in the car. I hope at least some of this helps!
