I am needing a quick overview on the various meds out there for ticks and notice the sticky is from 09. Can someone do a new one because I know a lot has changed.

I am so worried about what to do, so last year Lola had the chewable heart worm prevention but no tick meds. I don't worry that much about ticks since we are not in the woods very often, but this year I will be doing a lot of traveling with her. Every time she gets a vaccine she throws up and I remember my last yorkie acting crazy after I applied one of the topical's on him. Also I never worry about flees now this year we are spending a week at the beach in NC so perhaps I should worry about that. oy vie, I hate thinking about this, but I know I have to.
