it definitely is a rhodendrum and this is exactly when they bloom. The leaves should be dark green and rubbery.
That is a good size and health looking, it would not be cheap to replace so before you chop it down you might want to see if someone wants it. But why cut it down, if your dogs are not out there alone, which I know you don't like then why worry, we have had those type of plants and many of my friends do with no problems. |
