Well it's official my Roxy is in heat. I guess a few weeks ago was the warning period but since I never saw any blood and the male dog I took her around didn't go banana's so I thought all was good.
She just lost another baby tooth last week and I have been patiently waiting on her to lose the last few and my work schedule has been crazy lately, so I haven't scheduled her to be spayed yet. I just read a little information about how long I need to wait before taking her in but she will be going as soon as this is over!! She doesn't seem to be in any pain but she isn't playing very much and she drinks more and eats less. I feel like a bad mommy for thinking everything was ok. She will be watched like a hawk and fixed in June. If anyone has any advice about keeping her clean and comfortable please pass it on.
