Don't you think saying that would have a better result than what was said? Maybe this guy had the reserves when the dog got preg, but he just lost his job? I just think you get more with being kind about a situation than running them off because they were made to feel bad. Just a thought...
Tone? We all speak differently, emergencies require direct quick advice, that's what I saw. You could have delivered it the way you just wrote it, that is fine for you, we are all different here, each us separately. The reply you are speaking on comes from a very seasoned, well educated, extremely experienced breeder, I would be grateful to get any advice from someone like that.
