I think you have it figured. I've found females will start early to establish pack leadership. If your little girl was feeling like she had to exert a little authority and you were stepping in but not too forcefully, she was doing what dogs in the wild would do. They will pee and poo to mark their territory, and your little girl is saying that your bed is her territory, especially when you get up to give special attention to the baby. |
