I often get Frontline Plus at Costco or directly from the vet, 1-800-pet-meds offers it cheaply.
Ummmm, fipronil, one of the two active ingredients in Frontline Plus, is most definitely a chemical pesticide. It is toxic to fish, game birds, and bees. Read the wikipedia article:

Fipronil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mind you, that doesn't bother me, because I'm not applying fipronil indiscriminately to the environment, but I use a different product on my Bella (Revolution, containing Selamectin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia).
