Between the two, Fromm BY FAR! Great company, great customer service, no recalls, family owned for over 100yrs.
With that said, I could never get my dog to do great on Fromm. Believe me I tried and wanted him to. Poo was always softer than I 'like', he also got a bit chubby (well, IMO. He's never been 'fat' but after 6 months of Fromm, I am now trying to get him back on track to his usual muscular body definition). We've been feeding NOW Grain-Free for over a month now and I can already tell differences, he's lookin' better. But we're still on the 'food search' and have a lot of sample bags, looking for his perfect food. I've noticed with him personally, he looks and feels his best on Grain-Free, Moderate Protein/Fat, and fiber over 3%. Fromm is also kinda complicated.
FWIW, I think their Gold line is often better than their 4-star line.
But I am not a huge fan of Blue Buffalo. I know some do very well on it, but it's made at like 5 different plants, had a few recalls, I read a LOT about GI issues on this food, etc. |
