I'm sorry and I do know how difficult it is to not only get past the "mind movies" but the loss of one animal/human that we love so much...but I will say that time gives way to happy memories more often than bad ones and that no person/animal is replaceable, but there is always room in our lives for another being...to make more happy memories and above all else...to LOVE...
I wish you peace and I hope you get another baby sooner rather than later....there is a baby out there waiting for you!!
