I was sitting here and came up with just as many if not more things that can happen inside a house to hurt or kill a dog! Stairs, cleaners, foods, bones even dog toys or dog food. You have to realistic about things! There are not coyotes in my area but they will go into neighborhoods. If I ever get a smaller Yorkie I would definitely not be letting them go out by there self. It's just kinda funny that I am sure no one does everything perfect with there dog some are not potty trained, some bite some tear things up ect just because those sound like the owner is doing something wrong doses mean its a cut and dry case like maybe the dog bites because they where abused. Just about everything should be taken case by case. No one knows it all.
