If she's at all overweight, this can make leg problems worse, so keeping her on the lean side would help. Haha, yes I can see her milking the situation for attention... lol, but, too, maybe she strained something and just needs a few weeks of TLC and spoiling till she feels up to being herself once again.

I don't allow mine to jump onto furniture or beds... they wait till I pick them up and put them there, and will bark when they want down. Some use doggy stairs... just a precaution as overextention can also make LP worse.

I hope your little one feels better soon...
