Default Any suggestion for our little girl with bad legs

Hi I have a little girl yorkie whos 10lb and four years old I'm just looking for some advice. She seems to be struggling with her back legs I have read up about luxating patella on here. On Monday we took her to the vets and they surgested X-rays on the Wednesday which we did but X-rays have come back clear with a very slight luxating patella on her left leg, we was told she didn't need any operation or any painkillers. My worry is she is still struggling with her walking and getting up steps, we was told to start building up her exercise to build muscle around leg which might stop it getting any worse. We stupidly stopped the walks in the winter because this was when we started to see her struggling. I forgot she is on Glucosamine to help her joints been on these since Christmas. Has anybody got any other surgestion that we can try to help her. Thanks for any surgestion forgot to say we also live in England
