Do not stress, find a good place that your comfortable with and you will have a much better time than worrying about their safety while in hotels etc., Most pups enjoy their vacation as well!
My vet watches mine when I'm on vacation etc!
I think of all the tragedies I read about on here when folks are traveling, I know things can happen anytime anywhere, but I will never take mine with me if they can't be with me 24/7 again...just won't.
Go with Hubby and have a great time!
