I'm going to try Heartgard but I'm not sure if I should go with the Plus or not. My vet has Iverheart on hand but I'm going to go through 800 Pet Meds and they will send a script for my vet to approve, or I think that's how it works. I've called every vets office in town and they all carry the generic brand of Heartgard...geez.
My ZoE just has her last Interceptor yesterday. We have an appt. on Monday for her heartworm test. I made sure our vet has Sentinel, which is what she'll be switched to, as it's interceptor with flea reproductive control added.

If they hadn't carried it, I would have requested a prescription because Dr. Foster & Smith has a year supply for $56. My vet is charging $78 for a year with a $20 rebate....I don't know if the rebate is also offered for an online purchase.

Personally, I don't mind paying a little more at my local vet, as he's reasonably priced in his services, so I'm ok with paying a lil extra on some things if it helps keep a great vet in practice in my small town
