Lacey likes to dig and will dig in the dirt when she's outside. Lately she has started trying to dig up the carpet. I have to watch her constantly. She has two places she wants to dig...at the front door or at the door to the bedroom. The cats are in the bedroom and it is blocked from her by a baby gate so that the cats can escape her antics when needed. I have used Bitter Apple spray at both places and that helped some. Last night, I fell asleep for 30 minutes and woke up to a 4 inch hole in my carpet at the bedroom door. Carpet fibers everywhere. She made a huge mess.

Has anyone else faced this problem? If so, how did you stop it? I put a small rug down and she just carried it off to the living room. I rent and will have to pay for the damage she has done to the carpet.
