Your pets are adorable!

Thanks for your suggestions, but I don't make any fuss when coming or going. I do tell him very quietly before I leave, that I will be back in a little bit---to be a good boy. Then when I return, I make no fuss over him either.

I haven't tried the method of giving him a treat & then leaving for only 5 minutes several times a day, but I will try that. Thanks so much for both your replies. I really appreciate your time.
