 New Owner here!
Hi guys!
My sister in law is moving and Rosie cannot go. So she is joining our family..to stay for good. She is 8..has been through many many homes.
I need advice for this particular situation. Rosie actually lived two houses from me..so its very confusing for her..it seems that she wasn't given a proper goodbye or something. I feel so bad..she must feel abandoned...again.
Rosie wants to go home..Today is her first full day..she came over late last night. Right now..i am currently putting her on a leash when i take her outside..i stop her at the corner..pick her up and go back to my porch. She is petty trained for outdoors..so she may want to go back to her designated area or..just go back home. In about...a week or so..my sister in laws home will be empty of furniture. since the house is on the same property and literally paces away..i thought to show Rosie that it was empty if she was still insistent about going back..but wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not.
I am open for all advice and suggestions on anything!! |
