Whenever I got my girls spayed I too would use a onesie. I also have a few kiss-e-collars so I would alternate between the collar and the onesie. The collars are really nice as they don't seem to mind them but they would get wet anytime they went and got a drink.
I was too afraid to cut a whole in the onesies because I thought it would give them easier access to the incision so I just left the middle snap open and put their tail through that. When I took them to potty or could really watch them, I just unsnapped it and rolled it up. It worked out great.
I did have a hard time finding one small enough though for my Lillie. Even the premie ones were too big. Luckily though I found a baby doll's bathing suit (no idea why I still had it) but it worked out perfect. I cut a hole in it for her tail and it fit her perfectly.
I guess a little creativity goes a long way. |
