Honestly, my next Yorkie will be purchased from a breeder. I have tried to adopt from the rescue where I volunteer and it did not work out (my Sophie Kate was not happy in the shelter enviroment and will never pass the temperment tests).

Unfortunately, they're located in Michigan. I'm not too keen on having a puppy shipped. I'd like to go to a place and see where the pup is coming from for myself, etc.
