I have never boarded and don't think I could. We took a tour of a couple doggy daycare and boarding places, but I wouldn't leave them at any of the ones we saw. We were lucky and had a great groomer that came to our house and stayed while we were away. She brought her yorkie, so the boys had a blast, and got to still sleep in our bed at night. A couple other times I had a friend come over and stay with them. When we took our first vacation last year, we brought them along. They stayed with us in our hotel at night, and while we were out during the day they went to daycare. It worked perfect for us because they would be so tired from playing all day that they would eat dinner and sleep all night
Now that we have moved I'm not sure what we will do for a sitter though.
