I always mist Mandie when I brush her. I don't like "wet her down" or anything.

I alternate what I use. Some days, I use the Madan Brilliant Sheen Spray (it has a misting spray which I love and I also think the smell of it calms Mandie for grooming - just from experience with her). The other days, I use a leave-in conditioner spray that has argan oil in it. It also mists when it sprays.

Mandie spends a lot of time outdoors playing so I feel it helps between baths to use sprays when I brush her. Otherwise, I think I might her her hair more brushing dirty hair while dry.

With that said, I'm still searching for the perfect solution for her coat. It is beautiful but gets a little frizzy just along the spine and it doesn't really have that "yorkie shine" to it. I, also, have ordered halo dreamcoat but haven't received it yet. I have also ordered Yorkie Splash & Shine Shamp, Cond, AND their grooming Yorkie Sheen spray.

She gets coconut oil everyday in her diet but I don't rub it on her hair.
