Dumb guy question #9,872 (this year):

I've always heard to never brush our Yorkies while their hair is dry, but I guess I haven't paid attention to what you wet them with.

I've been using a detangler spray, but I find that the more I brush and comb with the detangler, the more, for lack of a better word, "poofy" Jillie gets. Her hair is silky and thin, and it looks almost staticky.

We use Coat Handler products that I've come to love. There's a 15-1 conditioner that I use straight without dilution after a bath. I'm wondering if I could dilute it 15-1 and use it as the daily combing spray?
