I wouldn't call Jackson 'yappy'. He doesn't just bark to hear himself bark, LOL. And he's a perfect gentleman in public places.
But he has a very shrill high pitched bark that he does whenever the doorbell rings, or the UPS comes up our driveway. He's an 'alerter' for sure. He's also very loud during play (i.e. he consistently barks when he and my dads dog, Lilly, are chasing the ball around in the back yard, he barks at me when I'm about to throw a ball, etc) so he is a huge talker and it can be very annoying. We're working on it. |
