Giardia definitely could have been picked up from the Denver kennels. It's a parasitic infection that you can only get from ingesting the cysts from infected fecal material. In kennels, it's typically ingested from contaminated water. It's extremely common for any dog in a kennel to contract Giardia. Most all of the dogs in mills have Giardia. If you're just seeing her symptoms now, there's a good chance she got it in Denver...or somewhere along her route. Symptoms start within 1-3 weeks of contracting it. I only know this because I have 2 rescues that were born in a mill. Change her water a lot & wash your hands a lot. Humans can catch it. One of my pups had it. No one in my house caught it. I don't mean to scare you. I just wanted you to be aware.
