If you get the chewable tablets and crush them, open the capsule of the intestinal flora, and mix both with a small ammount of the Nutracal. Put in mouth and repeat as needed until stool is firm again.
This is what I do for all of my animals, including the yorkie, a St. Bernard, goats, sheep, and rabbits. Works well. Pepto shouldn't be used on dogs in my opinion-
Bodhi's mom- Your vet should not give flagyl to a dog for stomach problems- this is a very strong, very body disturbing med, which is used for human sexually transmitted diseases.
