Well it's terrible news and I am beside myself with grief. The ER vet is pretty sure Yogi has a portosystemic shunt. I am reading all about this and the dr gave us stuff to read. We will know more tomorrow with x rays and further test results. We were able to see Yogi and hold him for about an hour. He has to stay over on iv . He is still disoriented and crying. It is so horrible to see your perky happy puppy like this, it's awful. If this is confirmed we will go to a specialist and see if diet and meds would work or surgery. It depends where the shunt is and how many etc. if anyone knows about this and has advice let me know. I just want my baby back healthy whatever it takes. Thanks
