Right after I brought Lexi home she had a small spec of bright red blood on the potty pad by her poop. Her vet appt. was the next day. Her stool sample was normal. The vet said that her blood vessels in that area were so small that the straining caused some of them to break. She said it was normal and nothing to worry about. It happened one more time and never again.
Hopefully, this is what happened with Darla.
