I have never had a puppy that small and I thought from the begining something about it's tung looked different and the way it was opening it's mouth so big.I just figured it looked different because it was so tiny. The vet didn't say anything about the puppy so I don't know if it was normal or not...it jerked around alot..anyways thank you for your heart felt words, and those of you with advice about the sponge feeding method..it didn't work on this puppy but looks like a great way of feeding a puppy that the mom won't nurse.
Thank you,

Im glad we made you feel better. I knew what you were feeling like I said i went through it with a runt kitten and I felt terrible when he passed but I knew I did everything I could and sometimes its just not meant to be no matter how much effort you put into it because there is most likely something more wrong with that runt and even if you would have saved it for a few days eventually its going to pass anyway and maybe it was suffering and you just prolonged it
