Your breeder did not opt to have your puppy microchipped because of one of 2 reasons....Either she is too squeemish to do it herself, or she did not want to pay the vet to do it for her. These babies can be microchipped at any time....especially after they are 6-8 weeks old.....there is no "age requirement/ size requirement" on having the chip inserted. I almost die but the pups do just fine, seldom even crying out at all. That needle is VERY sharp and it inserts with no pain.
