We used to have the same problem with Harry, I think he could see his own reflection in his stainless steel bowl, and used to run away from the enemy lurking at the bottom.....
Wondering if you've tried a ceramic one yet, and whether it's worked for you?
Same with Harry's food - he only likes to eat it off a plate....
....preferably one of our fine bone china ones
Yet to try him with a knife and fork yet though....
