There's an episode on the dog whisperer about a dog scared of the ripples in the water.
If it wasn't down to fear, I would ask the breeder, did they supply plently of water and encourage it to drink the water. Because my breeder, told me to try and give them water and wean them off milk, because it would hinder them drinking water. He could just be too use to the milk, if it's not the fear.
Jasper doesn't eat from his bowl, or plastic plates I've tried him with still. I have to put the kibble on the sofa or his bed. The only thing he will eat from the plate is liver. He'll lick it clean.
