Darla is acting odd. She's sleepy not very active. Maybe she's finally settling? She even payed in and out of one of her crates. I left the setup in the bathroom and another in he kitchen area. But she only wanted to play with me about 30 mins total she's slept on my dirty close piles I was separating for laundry in my littlest sons room.
After I put my sleeping son to bed she followed me out of his room laid on my lap on the floor. After 15 mins she allowed me to place her in the crate in the kitchen and I threw in one of my tank tops I was wearing and she's still in there. I left the door open too. I think it maybe safe to go to bed?
Is this possibly normal? Maybe finally knowing she's home? She didn't eat all her wet food tonight so I gave her some nutrical to help supplement. |
It takes a few days for them to get comfortable. I slept on the couch for a week next to his x pen. I had a blanket from the breeder. If you don't I would take a shirt and put it in .and I also got a puppy that gets heated. And put it in with him. It was soothing. She will be ok. You are doing great. Giving nurtrical was great. As she fed wet food a the breeder. Galen was fed only dry.
