That is really short for a groomer to have done, but don't worry, it grows back and usually pretty quickly. Columbo has a chihuahua haircut like that right now! He has been sick and had some tests and procedures done where they shaved his sides and tummy. Two weeks ago I shaved him all over to match it where the vets shaved him. Here's a pic of what he looks like. Its grown out two weeks, so you can see it was almost down to the skin! I actually shave him every once in awhile in the summer, but usually about a 1/2" long, not this short. It gets really hot and humid here, so I like it short when it's warm, but I usually leave him a bit longer on his head. Don't worry, it always grows back! In fact, it's a bonus for me that he won't need a haircut for several months! He will just need his face touched up as it grows. He was chilly a couple weeks ago, but this week it hit 90 degrees, so he was feeling good!

Awww...he's a cutie! I'm just curious, do you have a photo of him now? I'm just wondering how long his coat has grown in 2 weeks.
