Scooter also has the soft coat. I'm always apologizing to his groomer for all the snarls in his coat. I brush him daily but it doesn't make any difference and his coat just knots right up. His groomer is so very nice about it and says not to worry it's just the way cotton coats are. He's Mr. Wiggle Butt when he gets groomed and cut but he always comes out just beautifully
