I know how you feel. Pixie became terrified of thunder and now rain. Even if there is rain an hour away she starts shaking and panting. I have had good results with the thunder shirt and some calming medicine from the vet but lately nothing is working. She even panic now when she hears the beeping for a weather alert on TV. So it's possible she is still scared from the previous storm. We have been having rain since 4 this morning except for a short break and she is frantic. I am going to ask the vet for something stronger as I am afraid she is going to have a heart attack. I hope you can figure out what is causing her distress.
