 How badly did I mess up my puppy?
I went to Petsmart, before I got my 7 week old puppy from a breeder, to prepare for my new arrival. As a first time owner I was overwhelmed by facts and tips given to me by an employee there. I bought numerous things while I was there. One of said things was a bag of Blue Buffalo dog food that was recommended to me by the same employee. I got everything home and then brought my puppy home. I've been feeding her for two weeks and she eats a good amount every meal. I was cleaning around her feeding area when something caught my eye. I've been feeding her small breed adult dog food. Once I notice I immediately took her food away and switch it to a bag of IVet I received from my vet. My question is how bad was it for me to feed her adult dog food for two weeks? Did I permanently mess up her growth? Thanks. |
