Oh, did she usually bring the ball back to you? I guess she's saying Arthur can have it when she's done with it. I've never had dogs interact much with a ball, one will get it and the others will watch. Sometimes a longer stuffed toy, will encourage them to play, each one will take an end and pull it from each other, but in some ways this might encourage fighting. After about a year, my two started playing, it was kind of a tag involving a toy, and they would try to get the other one to chase them.
