These are the people the airline has to keep track of pets, to keep pets safe and to act as liasons for the customers and pets??? They might need to rethink their hiring/training processes. If the "pet safe" people don't understand that to many people, our pets ARE our children, they are in the wrong line of work. Once this is over, I would write a strongly worded letter to the airline describing your experience and the utter lack of helpfulness as well as the outright rudeness of the petsafe people. I have never hung up on anyone, personal or business. That is unacceptable!

I have NEVER heard of a company person hanging up on a customer....one exception, the customer was cursing like a filthy mouthed maniac and the customer rep. just told him he was going to transfer the call to his supervisor because he was not going to be cursed at like that. I look back on how I acted in the airport when Continental lost my puppy, and I am actually amazed they did not have me arrested and forcably removed from the area! They were VERY, VERY tolerant and very helpful....there were all kinds of people on 3 different phones, calling all over, looking for that baby! And when I explaned about dropping blood sugar and seizures and death.....well they found that baby quickly....

I work in customer service, if I EVER hung up on one of my customer’s I would be fired!! Plus I would never do that, that is so rude!
